In FLIGHT TO FREEDOM a new time door opens up in the lost land and the Porters load up their SUV and try to make a run for it. But Stink and Tasha end up following and get cornered by the T-Rex Scarface. So the family of humans have to choose between their return home (if that's where the gate goes) and saving the lives of their friends. Of course, they choose their friends and remain The Land of the Lost. In HEAT WAVE there's a drought in the land and they're in competition with the lizard Sleestak for water.
