Donald Pleasance is a priest trying to stop a Pagan cult, led by Peter Cushing, which worships the fire breathing statue of the minotaur. Plenty of twenty-something hippies start disappearing and it looks like the cult is responsible for the disappearances. For some reason this film reminded me of the movie LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM, primarily with the mood it conveys. And Cushing is always a great villain. I only wish that the minotaur was a live creature not a bulky looking sculpture. Not very frighening!
