In the not-too-distant future, in a world run by women, a renegade scientist (Julie Bowen of AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN PARIS, THREE) creates a synthetic male in order to prove that men are not inherently dangerous. The male grows to maturity in the span of a month-at which point he takes the car and decides to drive into the nearby city since he's never seen any other people. Well, sight of him freaks out the police and soon there's an APB out on him. He goes back home but by then it's too late. He and the woman scientist have to hide from the government, who want to use him as an example of how dangerous and violent men are. But the genes that are attributed to violence are not a part of him. At one point he even ends up at an abandoned football stadium where the last of the men live. They are all over fifty years-old and represent the 3% of males who weren't killed by the virus released during WWIII. In the end he is killed by violent females, proving that violence isn't genetic . Months later we skip to the scientist, who has escaped-and who finds out that she is pregnant with a boy. This was an interesting movie done in a plausible manner. And Julie Bowen is a very watchable actress.
