This cool 2 tape set ran 90 minutes, but does a cool job of tracing the Frankenstein Monster's story from book to its many adaptations on film. The 1st tape basically covers the book, some radio and TV spots, and the early Edison film. Pretty cool shit, I didn't know Thomas Edison was a horror film director. There's also some good stuff from the universal classics here to enjoy one more time. Tape the 2nd looks at the many faces of the monster and the various countries that have made movie or TV adaptations. There was a lot on the 2nd tape I enjoyed and had never seen before like the British TV pilot Tales of Frankenstein. They cover films here up to and including the DeNiro film, which I thought was kinda cool. All said, you get plenty of monster for the bucks here, making this set worth having for classic monster buffs and you Franken fans.
