I've always liked the LEPRECHAUN franchise because it gives you exactly what you expect-an insane, evil Leprechaun killing people along an entertaining (albeit basic) story. And overall, each movie has been much more satisfying than the Jason or Freddy movies. Admit it, I'm right. This time around our diminutive killer is back, trying to reclaim his gold which was found by a young woman. She, of course, shares her treasure with her three friends-which make them targets for the Leprechaun. They don't spend their money to get out of their neighborhood, which would be the smart thing to do. Instead, they buy a lot of things. Warwick Davis is again hilarious as the green monster, especially in one scene where he's smoking a bong and can't get enough. Face it, there's absolutely nothing scary or threatening about a Leprechaun, which makes these movies such a hoot.If you want a little entertainment then rent this out.
