A college Professor (Kevin Spacey) is on death row for raping and killing a colleague. The week before he's to be put to death by lethal injection he asks for an interview with a well-known reporter (Kate Winslet). At first she believes he's guilty of the crime but as she hears his story, told in flashbacks, she comes to think otherwise. Then, she is mysteriously left a videotape in her hotel room, which shows the woman dying-she's handcuffed, with a plastic bag over her head. The ending is a complete surprise-almost as much as the ending of the movie IDENTITY. If you're in the mood for a good murder/mystery check it out.
