Ogami Itto slices and dices more ass in this sequel to the classick Shogun Assassin! I don't enjoy this quite as much as Shogun, but it's still one helluva a violent film. What's not to love about seeing one man cut down hordes complete with arterial blood spraying to the maximum? Yeah, there's some little plot about helping some prostitute, being hired to kill and evil baddy bad, but you know why you wanna see this thing, for lone wolf to pull that blade baby! Tomisaburo Wakayama is one of the best actors in samurai film history, this movie only offers further proof.
