Adam Sandler is amusing as a son of the devil, given the task of trying to capture his two wayward, evil brothers before they than can take dad's place on the hot seat. The depiction of hell is gruesome, particularly when Jon Lovitz shows up and is sexually molested by a giant horny black bird, and there's plenty of otherwordly demons. One of the funnier moments is when they play an old Chicago tune backwards and it says to worship Satan. There's also a talking bulldog who likes to go to strip clubs and a crooked toothed love interest (Patricia Arquette). Reese Witherspoon (FREEWAY) plays Sandler's Angel mother (scary!). And whoever was resposible for casting Harvey Keitel as the devil is brilliant! Brilliant!
