The tale of Frodo, Gandolph and the Fellowship of the Ring finally makes it into a live-action film--and the results are amazing.. The casting, particulary Ian McCellan as the wizard and Christopher Lee as Saruman is right on the mark, the computer and makeup effects top-notch and the epic story utterly engaging. As perfect as a book adaptation can get. Directed by Peter Jackson (who will hopefully get his KING KONG remake made one day)
