This is about a small group of Vikings, along with their two sibling slaves, who venture into North America and encounter the Native Americans. The Vikings are overly violent and slaughter a hunting party and one of the slaves, Kilian, who is from Ireland, escapes and befriends the Amerindians. Never mind the whole idea about Vikings being in North America first, I'm not sure if the Irish were much more civilized than the Vikings around 1,000 A.D-and this Kilian character can read and write.
On one hand the production value of this independent movie is pretty low-the scene with the guy in the bear suit is pretty awful-but it appears as if they actually cast Native Americans in the roles, which I found interesting.
