Harry Bailey (Dean Caine of Lois & Clark) is the sheriff in a small town, still in denial that his wife had left him some years before. He keeps on expecting her lame ass to walk back in the door. She's not coming home because she was slain by a local monster, the Wendigo. In the meanwhile, he's taking care of his teenaged daughter who is more of an adult than he his. Then, killings begin, by the monster from Native American legend. It's nasty looking, sort of like a bulked up version of the Cryptkeeper of Tales from the Crypt. Although this has the stereotypical elements of a made-for-cable horror movie it's entertaining.
