The comedy sci-fi hit Men in Black was a bigger hit than anyone could have predicted. A sequel was inevitable. Luckily, it ends up being a decent one. The comedy is the main focus of course, but the FX are impressive as any Hollywood big money picture should be. Frank the dog does get a bit annoying after 10 minutes, but luckily gets lost in the shuffle once Tommy Lee Jones hits the screen. A good bit of the 1st hour of the movie is spent getting age K his memory back. I think part one was more exciting, however Lara Flynn Boyle does make for a much better looking villain. An impressive piece of studio eye candy that the masses will eat up. Hell, I saw it for $2 and I was impressed, hehehehehe! MIB2 is funnier than the 1st, but doesn't quite work as well in other areas as its predecessor. Here's something to think about though, Will Smith as now starred in 3 of the better big budget sci-fi films in the last 10 years. Who would have ever guessed that?
