George (Chandler Riggs of THE WALKING DEAD) is close to his odd grandmother, Mercy (Shirley Knight). But when she has an apparent stroke she's put into a care center until her daughter has to bring her home and care for her. It's then that the truth comes out about "Gramma", how she made a deal with the devil to get what she wanted in life, namely children and a thriving farmstead. And it seems that young George is going to play a part in her continued life unless he makes a stand against her. This isn't a terrible movie but it could have been much better without some of the hokey-ness, such as the blank book that forms pictures and the evil wolf creature. A much better adaptation of this Stephen King story was done for the first episode of the 1980's TWILIGHT ZONE revival series.
