This Japanese animated movie is about a huge city, whose leader wants to control the world. First, his regmine makes many of the robots go berserk by causing sun flares, which in turn make the citizens afraid of the robots. There's a revolutionary faction, from the lower levels of the city, who want to take over as well. The main story concerns a detective and his nephew who are on an investigation. They get separated an the nephew meets up with Tima, a young girl. She's really an advanced type of robot, created by the leader to rule the city. Tima has no idea who she is, though, because she doesn't have all her memory installed. When she's eventually hooked up to the computer which rules the city she starts losing herself-and in fact decides to eliminate the humans and have the robots in control. They try to stop her, the nephew tries to save her and fails.Although the movie has great visuals, there isn't quite enough story going on to fill an hour and a half, which makes it a bit on the boring side.
