Much smaller in scope than the original, primarily due to its intended direct-to-video release, this is nevertheless a decent sequel, dealing with one of the soldier insects that escaped. The human characters here are a teacher and her students--and it just so happens the creature is nesting in part of the old New York building. The coolest thing is that the mimic insect transforms even further--and the result (and the reason) is both fascinating and horrifying.
