Decent ghost story that was just a tad slow for my tastes. Hell, the girl I saw it with dozed off and that's a man's job, so you know it was slow. I won't go as far as to say it was boring because the plot is pretty cool. The great twist at the end wasn't that big a deal was it? We all knew somebody was a ghost, either Kidman and her brats or the things they saw. I was more interested in why they were dead to begin with. I loved the way the movie was filmed. The dark setting was perfect for this movie and helped hold my attention. The door locking scenes added a bit of mystery as did the whole light thing. Well acted mainstream horror to make critics happy, I found myself wondering why I was enjoying this slow paced film. Who knows?
