Jane (Emmanuelle Vaugier of SAW II, HOUSE OF THE DEAD II) is part of an army unit nicknamed "The Painkillers", who is exposed to a man-made virus which kills everyone except for her. Now, she's able to heal very quickly (her body will actually push out bullets), can run quickly and is able to process information at a vastly increased rate. She's led to believe that the army intentionally did this to her but it turns out to be an evil genius (Tate Donovan), who desires to expedite humanity's evolution.
