Psychologist Claire Summers (Anne Hathaway) is assigned to counsel a handful of plane crash survivors and soon becomes convinced that there's a conspiracy to keep them from speaking what really happened that caused the crash. She starts taking an interest in one of the guys she interviews, Eric, and soon they become more than friends. Then, the people who survived the crash start disappearing and she thinks it has something to do with the mysterious agent following her. PASSENGERS is a good, solid ghost story. There's great chemistry between the two leads, which is pivotal to the movie. The film reminded me a bit of SOUL SURVIVOR and JACOB'S LADDER.
