This is a fine throwback movie to the 50's and 60's, in which a group of people out in the woods are attacked by a creature for no apparent reason other than it's pissed off and hungry. One half of the group consists of men on a long planned camping trip, the other half are a group of women they run into. One by one they are killed off.
At first I thought this was going to be another low budget Bigfoot movie but was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be something entirely different. The monster is cool looking, particularly when it's running, but the more I watched it resembled more and more of a Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle crossed with a Rhino. Still, as men-in-suit monsters go, it succeeds.
written and directed by Brett Kelly, who also stars as one of the characters.
