This is leaps and bounds better than the first PULSE movie and is probably what M. Knight Shamalyan's THE HAPPENING should have been.
After the spirits take over most of the world only a few people survive. Among them
are Stephen (Jamie Bamber of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) and his family. He's separated from his wife and after the world goes to hell he makes his way back to her house, primarily to make sure his daughter is okay. When he gets there, though, things aren't as he expected.
The movie starts with the point-of-view of ex-wife Michelle (Georgina Rylance of DINOTOPIA the series) and her daughter and we're not sure if she or her daughter is a ghost. All becomes clearer when Stephen arrives.
There are some unsettling moments and the movie does keep you guessing as to what's happening. PULSE II almost convinces you that ghosts are the new zombies...
