Wow, here's an original story: some flunkees go out to the desert to take pictures. There's a legend that a mutant with a 'sewn-together human face mask' haunts the area. Said flunkees scoff at this idea.Low and behold, he's out there! He attacks them with his machete, hacking them all up to bits! This poorly executed video movie had some potential with some great locations, but everyone from the writers right on through the directing and fx fumbles the ball. What we get are endless 'foot chase scenes' as a guy in a rubber mask chases and tackles some bad actors in the desert---about 90 minutes of this stupidity. This movie sure did make me thirsty, I'll tell you that! I bet everyone really sweated for this thing, but the end results sure are lame.I read somewhere there'll be a sequel. Can't wait for that. Heeeeee----haw.All in all, a poor ripoff of 'Texas Chainsaw' and 'Hills Have Eyes.' Watch one of those classics again instead of this dribble.
