This sequel in name only is a decent follow-up to the heavy classic 1st movie. Gordon Liu again uses that bald head and hones his skills in order to fight back against a bunch of assholes screwing up his towns local dye factory jobs. At 1st, he is mistaken for a real Shaolin fighter, but his lack of fighting skills soon gets exposed and he must tuck tail and haul ass to the real temple to try and get accepted. He can't get in, but becomes befriended by a monk and gets a job helping do construction work on the temple, which is actually teaching him some strange style of construction kung-fu! He doesn't realize it at 1st, but soon he learns that he can kick ass with this stuff and goes back to revenge for his town. His construction kung-fu works well and he gets the job done. It ain't as good as #1, but the interesting twists are worth it and Liu still brings the charisma as in the original, so all is well. This has a lot of comedy stuff, unlike the first, but it doesn't fit in too badly considering the light tone of the movie.
