In this sequel to the 1992 version with John Rhys-Davies, the Lost World is invaded by a Belgian scientist and his crew who are drilling for oil. They have no regard for the prehistoric inhabitants and a baby ankylosaur is injured (and cared for by a native girl). Professor Challenger, journalist Malone and Summerlee return to the plateau to stop them and help the animals and inhabitants. But the oil drilling has activated the volcano underneath the plateau, which is a danger to everyone.
This is a needless sequel to the first movie, which isn't that great to begin with. It's too "G-Rated" and pales in comparison with other movie adaptations.
