) If you like the OMEN movies then this is right up your alley. A Roman soldier (Udo Kier) is shown driving his spear into Jesus. Then, skip two thousand years to the present. A young man reconciles with his billionaire father, who wants him to decode the writing on an ancient artifact. Yet another group of people, the Masons, want the secret of the artifact as well. Their leader happens to be that same Roman soldier, who cannot die. He's shown in various flashbacks through the ages. What it turns out to be is the blood of Jesus, preserved on the nails. The Masons want to clone him, then slightly change his DNA in order to make him the anti-Christ. I can't really tell any more without spoiling the ending-but it is a well thought out, complicated story. If you miss five minutes you'll be scratching your head wondering what the hell is going on.A good end of the world type movie.
