Not to be confused with JACK THE RIPPER: FROM HELL. This has all the stereotypical elements of your typical slasher film-thunder and lightning, a car that won't start, phone doing dead, and a slew of red herrings that try to steer you away from the supremely stupid ending.Bruce Payne (WARLOCK 3, DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS) is a professor, teaching a college class on serial killers, and one of his students just happens to be the survivor of a massacre five years before. Soon, students in her study group begin to die in horrible ways, ways which mimic the slayings of the infamous Jack the Ripper, in terms of how the bodies are disfigured. There's lots of loud music that doesn't quite fit with the scenes, twenty-something characters acting really lame. The downfall of this fiasco is the inane script that stretches the remotest plausibility. It makes it one of the worst slasher movies I've EVER seen...
