Right from the get go of this television movie we know the indentity of the Ripper. The movie revolves around Inspector James Hanson (Patrick Bergin of HIGHWAY TO HELL, BENEATH LOCH NESS) of Scotland Yard trying to find out who this person is. During the investigation the Inspector falls in love with the only eyewitness of the Ripper, a former prostitute (Gabrielle Anwar of BODY SNATCHERS). In order to catch the killer in the act he chooses to use her to lure him in for arrest. There are scenes of Jack the Ripper killing the prostitutes and also one disturbing scene in which he sets a live horse on fire. This movie is different enough from other 'Jack the Ripper' movies I've seen to make it interesting and the story made it plausible as to the real identity of this infamous killer.
