This film was short on the run time, but that wasn't really a bad thing. Helped keep my attention really 'cause I don't usually make it through many SOV things these days. This movie was pretty good, combining supernatural and living dead elements into one story. The story was the best thing about the film really as there wasn't much blood to speak of. I liked the fact that it was shot in black & white. That really helped hide the cheap FX on the zombies, keeping them looking much better than if they had been shown in color. Still, the movie was kinda short, perhaps too much so for many and it needed a little more action to flesh out the cool story. It was a good hours' worth of entertainment though. If you're looking for some new indie stuff with a bit more interesting story than most these days, you would do well to seek out The Risen.
