This DVD is release of part of the mini-series that was shot back in 2000 and shown on the Sci-fi Channel. Here, Robocop is reintroduced to an old partner (before Nancy Allen), who is this stereotypical jaded policeman, though the old partner doesn't realize at first that Robo is his old friend. In the upper echelons of the Delta City conglomerate Robo's grown-up son is on his way to the sleazy top, with the help of a potentially evil woman-who just happens to be the ex-wife of Robo's old partner! Talk about coincidence! Well, the story is indeed convoluted. The production value is WAY down and the actor cast as Robo doesn't have a fraction of the presence of either Peter Weller (Robocop 1 & 2) or Robert Burke (#3). It's probably best just to forget about this DVD.
