This 21 minute episode picks up after the events of the first movie, with the Roughnecks trying to stop the Bug Queen before she can make her way to Earth. The bug's biological starships are shown. They are these big beetle-looking things that contain the different insects, from the plasma firing ones to others that look like hornets. In the end they realize that the queen has landed on Earth-and that they now have to find her.Everything is done with computer animation, with the aliens looking great but the humans a bit stiff, particularly when they run. But there's plenty of action and explosions and the story has the same 'feel' as the movie . I also like that they show how the bugs travel between worlds and that one of the Roughnecks is an alien being.
