Renee (Noomi Rapace of PROMETHEUS) is a single mother who kidnapped while on her way to a retreat. The kidnappers have gone to a lot of trouble, from placing an explosive on her tire to make it look like a blow-out to coordinating her capture and taking her to a hidden facility. What do they want? They want her to "Rupture", to become something other than human. And why do they want her to transform? Are they allies or exterminators for this new species of mankind? On one hand this is in the vein of a SAW film, which gruesome torture/experiments. However, the payoff is lame and could have been so much better. The only thing that ruptured here was my patience.
