This is one of the better made bigfoot movies, up there with NIGHT OF THE DEMON and THE SIX MILLION-DOLLAR MAN bigfoot episodes. Lance Henriksen portrays a billionaire searching for his daughter, who crashed in the snow covered mountains three months ago. But his search is really for an experimental device which can quickly identify someone's DNA. Among the search group is the mountain-man leader, a slimy author, a woman who wants to blackmail the billionaire, a computer geek and an assistant. They come across the crashed plane and some evidence that someTHING had attacked them after it crashed. And something is now following them, staying hidden in the shadows. They find some blood and the DNA device is unable to identify it, meaning it's an entirely new species. Just why the otherwise peaceful Sasquatch is bent on killing these people is interesting and it's pulled off fairly well. And the creature itself is a cool looking monster, a bit different than other portrayals.
