Rather than an insane grandmother and mother, this time it's the 25 year-old son of Cathy Sheffield, Bart, who has become a complete asshole. He's the result her seducing her mother's husband two movies ago. Now, he's set to inherit Corinne's Estate. He has two siblings, a brother and sister, and makes life miserable for them, even going so far as to seduce his brother's wife after he becomes crippled (which Bart was responsible for when he damages a set he's dancing on). The brother is the result of Cathy and her brother, Christopher, having sex, and the young daughter was adopted in the previous movie. Everyone acts out. As with the books, this is appropriately melodramatic--and entertaining--and thus the perfect Lifetime movie.
