Tina (Alice Lowe) goes on a trip with her new boyfriend, Chris (Steve Oram), in his camper across the English Countryside. Her passive aggressive mother doesn't want her to go--but this is a chance for her to do something that she wants to do. And she's not getting any younger. Everything is fine at first--until they accidently run over a guy. The police let them go because it was clearly an accident--but the rest of the murders that happen that week are anything but. Chris can't handle people looking down on him--and he lashes out in a very violent way against some men they meet along the way. Tina tries to accept all of this and so she sticks with him. And then she finally begins to kill, too, which causes more of a conflict with the couple. It all spirals to an inevitable end, which turns out to be both horrible and hilarious at the same time.
Sightseers is sort of a quirky UK version of Natural Born Killers. Highly recommended.
