This begins like the 1977 movie of the same name, with a skier getting attacked by something that is manlike and has white fur. Then, the thin story differs a bit. A biologist (John Schneider of SMALLVILLE) with his crew, go to the Canadian wilderness to study Lynx population--and end up getting this monster recorded on their cameras. What complicates things--and makes the movie 90 minutes, is that the biologist brings his teenaged daughter along for the trip.
On one hand I like it that they used a guy in a suit instead of lame cartoony CGI (like in a recent Syfy YETI movie I saw). But that's the only thing I liked.
