I was hoping that this wouldn't be nearly as bad as I thought it was over thirty years ago--but indeed it is. It's a "Variety-Hour" style show, complete with laugh track, featuring not only the Star Wars cast--Harrison Ford, Mark Hammill, Carrie Fisher, but Art Carney, Bea Arthur.
The one cool thing is the short cartoon, which is the first appearance of Bobba Fett. The animation is closer to YELLOW SUBMARINE than those more recent CLONE WARS shorts that aired on Cartoon Network a few years ago.
I was cringing when they introduced Chewbacca's family, including a son named Lumpy! And his grandfather is called Grumpy!
