The series revolves around ex-priest John Strange (Richard Coyle), who still lives near the Church where he served. The guy looks like the lead of David Lynch's ERASERHEAD. He's basically secluded himself in an old building and investigates supernatural goings-on. It all ties back to an incident in which some people died, including his girlfriend. He's assisted by a computer nerd, Toby (Andrew Lee Potts of PRIMEVAL) and Kevin, a man with Down-Syndrome, who also has psychic abilities. Strange's former boss, Canon Black, is an ass who may be tied up with the evil, though he continually disputes the existence of demons. When a cleric dies under mysterious circumstance the group investigates. They get the assistance of Nurse Jude Atkins, who is working at the hospital at the time. She does not believe in devils, either, but soon changes her mind when it's revealed that her live-in boyfriend Rich is a demon. This means that her young son, Joey, may be an heir to evil. In subsequence episodes they investigate the rapid aging of some victims, which has to do with a succubus type demon called a Zoxim. Then, there's a Japanese demon that's using victims' body parts to recreate its master. There's even a Banshee story and one about an incubus. The weirdest one, however, deals with the Dubik, which is this giant evil-looking tree that resembles the monster from FROM HELL IT CAME. The six episodes of this show is interesting, though I found it somewhat flat.
