Three tales in one film that fans of the original Tales From the Darkside TV Series will like. The first tale revolves around a university researcher who somehow gets his hands on his very own mummy. He brings him back from the dead and sets him out with the task of seeking revenge on people who have wronged him in the past (who couldn't find a fun use for something like this?). The second tale involves a man meeting a demon who spares his life in exchange for his eternal silence about what he has seen. Then a beautiful woman (Rae Dawn Chong) comes along that he falls in love with and like with every man on the planet, he can't keep his big mouth shut around women. The third tale unfolds as a hitman is called in to take care of a vengeful cat who has been seeking revenge for years of animal testing by a drug company. Cats rock and we find they are not as easy to wack as one would think. This is a decent film and like I said, fans of the original series will probably like it, as I did. A recommended rental.
