Every once in awhile a movie comes along that surprises you, The Tall Man is that movie. I sat for weeks debating if I should watch it or not thinking it was a cheesy psycho horror film. I was wrong, Tall Mans main star is Jessica Biel who we all know is easy on the eyes and really not that bad an actress. She plays a Distressed nurse who has lost her husband in a mining town that is rundown and jaded, The towns mine is empty the people very erratic and backwoods. Not long into the film you hear about the Tall Man, a terror who comes and steals children and is responsible for stealing 18 kids from the town so far. As the movie continues Jessica Biel's son is kidnapped from her one night, watch out! I'm gonna stop there simply because this movie takes a turn in the story I rather enjoyed. The action is paced very well and the time flies buy. In this day and age it is hard to pull one over on movie fans, but this film did that to me in a gorgeous way. Im very glad I watched The Tall Man as it is one of the better told movies I have seen in a long time. If you have Netflix and are looking for a great thriller and story please watch this asap. I would implore any thriller fan to watch this movie as it is different in so many ways than marketed. Its message is brutal and sobering and I walked away in thought for a long time. Even as I wrote that sentence its hard to believe its true. The Tall Man rocks and soon will be the unknown cult diehards will cling to, atleast it is in my book enjoy!
