Pretty good giant bug movie made way back in the mid-fifties. This spider grows to be fuckin' huge folks! For some reason though all big scary spiders seem to die a fiery death. But this one does reek some havoc before getting lit up and grows to huge proportions during the film. Also, we get some crazy nutrient growth serum formula bull thrown in to keep things interesting. The poor old scientists face gets a major ugly award by films' end too. B&W giant bug movies don't get much better than this. A classic that needs no review really I'm sure, just watch often.
