This is one of those movies shot in Romania, with a few American actors, and made to look as if it takes place in the US. Everyone is dubbed, badly, except for the English speaking leads, and the audio doesn't quite match. The premise is that a teenager sees a UFO land from his bedroom window and investigates a nearby field where this strange structure now stands. It's surrounded by these generic looking gargoyles, which seem to be surveillance devices for the aliens. The aliens are, of course, blood drinkers, and start converting the townsfolk into vampires as well. These aliens are a variation on the typical "Gray Alien", with the big black eyes. There's also an old abandoned mine, which they are using for a stronghold.
This is simply a terrible movie. The only point of interest is to see some early performances by Robin Dunne (SPECIES III), and a blonde Lindy Booth (CRY WOLF, WRONG TURN, THE 4400).
