John McBride and the Polonia Brothers have put their minds together and have come through with their own twist on the old premise of spending the night in a spooky house. Three college students are suckered into staying in an old house under the false pretense of receiving $25 grand. The house, although not very menacing to the naked eye, harbors a half man-half beast creature who is killing all who are trapped inside. This low budget creature feature was fairly well written, well acted, but the effects ranked pretty high on the cheese-o-meter. The creature looked like Whoopi Goldberg after a few facelifts, but some of the effects were pretty realistic. All kidding aside, Terror House is a pretty good independent film and well worth a look, if you can find it.
