This is probably the best Santa Slasher movie made, far better than any of the SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT movies. A repressed, fortyish man who works at the Jolly Dream Toy Factory is obsessed with Christmas. His entire apartment is decorated with Christmas Decorations and he likes to dress up as Santa Claws. He also keeps record books on the neighborhood children, of who's been naughty and nice. On Christmas Eve he loses his mind --he goes around giving toys to boys and girls--but when he encounters people who don't have the Christmas spirit, he kills them. Several people are slain on the steps of a church. The van he drives around in has a sleigh painted on the side, so when he accidently drives off of a bridge (presumbably to his death) it looks like Santa's sleigh coasting in the sky. Very well done psychological horror movie.
