The pilot episodes for this series based on the Arnold movie is much more influenced by BLADERUNNER than it is TOTAL RECALL in terms of production design. The plots revolve around the city police and Recall, which seems to always be involved with some sort of criminal activity. The first hour deals with a story about how Recall is erasing innocent people's memories and doing such things as taking their children away from them. Then, in the second episode, androids are killing humans and it's up to one cop and his new partner to find out the reason why. They do-and it's because they're implanted with human memories, that tend to fade away, causing them to act irrationally. As these are the only episodes I've seen from this short-lived series I can't say if they ran out of steam or not, but what I saw was intriguing.
