TRANCERS 6 is a no-win situation, as it's much lower in budget and is lacking the Star of the series, Tim Thomerson, who was very entertaining in the role. This aside, though, director Jay Woelfel (BEYOND DREAMS DOOR, GHOST LAKE) does a commendable job of pulling it off. Jack Deth's "spirit" is sent back in time into the body of his daughter, Josephine Forrest (Zette Sullivan), a bookish, vegetenarian woman. Those pesky Trancers are appearing again and it might have something to do with a trange meteor that crashed nearby. Immediately, the woman's behavior changes with Deth in control, which is funny because she really does behave like a guy, something that's not easy to pull off for an actress. The story is interesting enough, the main character, "Jo Deth", is memorable enough that I'd like to see her in a TRANCERS 7.
