Burt Gummer (Michael Gross), who now has a survivorlist YouTube Channel, is not happy when his cameraman ditches him for a higher paying gig. But the man has lined up a replacement, Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy), who thinks he can market Gummer to a wider audience. They are soon approached by a man claiming to be from an African Wildlife Preserve. He tells them that Ass-Blasters have been seen and documented in South Africa and wants Gummer's help to stop and capture them. He goes, along with Travis, and they soon discover that these monsters are more evolved than the ones from the Northern Hemisphere.
In order to stop the creatures they get the help of a local African tribe.
This sequel is different enough from the other films (and television series) to make it interesting, and it remains consistent with all the other films, adding to the "Tremors Mythos". The special effects are great. Recommended.
