Only ten episodes were made of this husband and wife detective team, starring Tim Matheson (WOLF LAKE) and Catherine Hicks (STAR TREK: THE VOYAGE HOME), sort of like a cross between HART TO HART and BEWITCHED. The premise is that Jake Tucker's wife was born with witch powers and she sometimes gets visions or premonitions, which help them in their cases. More often than not they figure out the connection once the case it almost solved. Barbara Barrie is the mother-in-law.
In the first episode Ted Danson portrays the head of a video dating service who is also a serial killer, other episodes involve a rich guy killing his wife, blackmail via computers (this is when people were first using computers in a widespread way), and I think it's kind of funny how Jake takes this all in stride about his wife, more often than not dismissing her powers, and how every episode ends with them in bed, about ready to have sex. She always uses her ability to turn off the bedroom lights.
