This series of the franchise doesn't work as well as it's predecessors. This time the man who secretly turns into ULTRAMAN is a teacher and many of the monsters/stories revolve around his irritating students. They've also inserted these 'Life Lessons' in each of the 13 episodes, which makes you want to fast forward and just get to the rubber monster bashing at the end. Some of the creatures are interesting-from Rodan-like to a giant robot. In design, 80 looks very much like the original Ultraman. I recommend this series to the serious Ultra fans only.
