This is the only ULTRA MAN series to be shot in the U.S, featuring a US cast.
There is a new Japanese guy who transforms into the giant superhero and he works for another group of people who defend the world against giant monsters, which is the usual assortment of weird creatures you see in an ULTRA MAN series.
The show does have good sense of humor, with one of the defense force members being this dumb ass who always causes trouble for himself. The two women, a blonde and a redhead, are quite hot. And Bill Mumy has a cameo in one of the stories, about a race of underground prehistoric people who control a giant monster.
