Sometime in the future a man-made disease turns a portion of the population into vampires-and the established government wants to kill them all, even though it seems they don't pose much of a threat in the big picture of things. Parts of this movie reminded me of the MATRIX, AEON FLUX and V FOR VENDETTA. Altogether, ULTRAVIOLET This is an utterly flat, ineffectual action movie where very little makes sense.
