This second sequel is better than the first, though that isn't saying much. An innocent girl is killed in 1969 and thirty years later her ghost is killing the sons and daughters of those football players responsible. One character is killed after spiders start erupting from her face, another urinates on an electric fence with shocking results and another is microwaved to death in a tanning booth, all impossibilities but they happen nonetheless. A brother and sister from the same high school start investigating and the real culprit is closer to home than they realize. It always irritates me when a meek character dies and then comes back as this rampaging, revenge filled spirit, polar opposite to how they were in life. It doesn't make any sense and provides a simple excuse for a plotline. BLOODY MARY has far more in common with the second and third PROM NIGHT movies.Directed by Mary Lambert (PET SEMATARY).
